Instructor Bio - Shayleh Moffett
Shayleh Moffett earned her black belt under Professor Granger Moffett in May 2024, marking a mileston in a journey that began over two decades earlier. She first started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Phoenix in the early 2000s with Professor Mark Zee at Gracie Barra, and later expanded her martial arts foundation by studying judo for two years under Krisztian Marki.
Throughout her path, Shay balanced the demands of raising six children while continuing to find ways to train and grow in the art. Her perserverance reflects her belief that women should have the skills and confidence to defend themselves, and she brings that passion into her teaching.
